Sunday morning on Beaver Creek Mountain, a love story unfolded against a backdrop of snowy pines. It was a chilly winter day when David, with tons of nerves and a ring in his pocket, up the ski life with their cousins. Little did Kim know, this trip would mark the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
As the morning progressed, David's nerves grew, but so did his excitement at the thought of asking Kim to spend forever with him. We talked a few days before, and I laid out the exact lifts to take so we could land that perfect moment for the two of them.
At the summit, with trembling hands, he turned to Kim, and gave a little speech, ending in "I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He spoke of their adventures together, the laughter they shared, and the countless memories they had created. Of course Kim said yes, and they shared in celebration with their family.
It is an absolute joy to be able to capture people's incredible special, intimate moments. I never take it for granted.
